Meriharakka offers sea-view accommodation in Velkua, a part of the town of Naantali, in the Turku archipelago, in Finland.

The spacious room (21 m²) is located in a peaceful wing of an all year round inhabited detached house. Large windows keep the room full of light and offer a beautiful view. Private entrance via the terrace.

There are two regular beds and a sofa-bed for two. A spare bed for a smaller child is also available. There is a television, radio and wireless Internet access (WLAN/Wi-Fi) in the room. The minikitchen is equipped with two electrical plates, a sink, fridge, microwave, electric kettle and a coffee maker. Breakfast is not included, but some dry foodstuffs such as cereal are freely available. The toilet is private to the guests, a shared shower is located in the other wing of the same building.

One of the best ways to enjoy the Finnish archipelago is to take a bicycle tour. That way you can experience the nature with its real dofts and sounds. The ecological footprint of a cyclist is also significantly smaller than the one of motorists — important in the vulnerable archipelago nature. That's why we offer a bit lower prices to cyclists. Of course, everyone is warmly welcomed.

Cyclists get a €10 discount.

Payments in cash or before hand to our bank account, as it is unfortunately not possible to draw cash in Velkua on evenings or weekends.

Additional services

Wood-heated sauna is served for an additional fee of €20, washing machine with laundry detergent can be used for €10.

The nearby facility centre Kummeli offers breakfast for €6/person during the summer, bookings one day in advance.

Map and driving instructions

Velkua is 29 km away from the centre of the town of Naantali, 42 km from the city of Turku. From Turku drive first towards Naantali and then Rymättylä. After the Särkänsalmi bridge, follow the Velkua road signs through Merimasku and Livonsaari to Teersalo in Velkua.

Finally turn from the Velkuantie road to Sauniementie just before the harbour. Continue driving for about 300 metres past the facility centre Kummeli and the yellow Sinervo house. Turn right to Sauniemenpolku and after only 50 metres right again to Meriharakantie. You will arrive at our yard.
